De Burgos​

One of Galway City’s most unusual bars, De Burgos is a beautiful venue. Located in former underground wine cellars, it bears the name of an Anglo Norman family who were involved in the founding of the City. 

 

Hidden away on Augustine Street, De Burgos is an underground venue in every sense of the word. Playing host to diverse events such as comedy nights and live music, it has a unique set of acoustics due to its thick stone walls and curved ceilings. De Burgos is something of an undiscovered gem.
